House Committee Advances Bipartisan Bill to Standardize Medicare Advantage Prior Authorization
House Ways & Means unanimously advanced H.R. 3514, which would force MA plans onto standardized electronic prior authorization and publish plan-level approval and denial data to CMS — but a substitute amendment delayed the effective date to January 1, 2029.
